In year 2, we work as a team to support your children. This year the team supporting your child will be
Miss Field as well as the teachers in both classes.
Science experiment
The children did a science experiment today to test how effective soap was on germs. First the children put their finger in a bowl of pepper and water and the pepper was the germs and it stuck to their finger. They then washed their hands with soap and used hand sanitiser and repeated the experiment. The children found that after they washed their hands the pepper (germs) did not stick to their hands and that washing your hands is very important.

'Here we are' by Oliver Jeffers
The children have been looking at the book ‘Here we are’ by Oliver Jeffers. This week we have been exploring the book and delving into the pages. We have been looking at the Earth and the different countries.
